EZ Test for CBD / THC - Hemp Typification

EZ Test Kits are simple and quick drug testing kits similar to those used by forensic labs, police and customs officers that have been repackaged and adapted for everyday use.

These EZ Test Kits for CBD/THC - the typing of cannabis - were created based on samples of wholesale cannabis that is sold as regular cannabis on the international cannabis market. Such cannabis is sometimes enriched with synthetic cannabinoids such as MDMB-4en-PINACA.

This test uses a chemical agent absorbed in silica gel inside a vial.

• If a sample is added to it, a reaction occurs and the silica gel changes colour.
• This color is compared to the color chart included in the package to give an indication of what may be in the embedded sample.

The EZ Test Kit provides access to efficient, fast and portable testing for sample analysis. Any reaction and color change that occurs after a sample is added can be compared to the color charts included in the package to determine the presence of a specific substance, impurity or purity level. The test itself displays pink/purple if the sample contains predominantly CBD and blue if THC is the dominant cannabinoid in the sample. In this way, consumers can identify the type of cannabis/hemp being tested.

EZ Test Kit Procedure - CBD/THC:

1) Break and open the vial

2) Insert a small amount of sample

3) Seal the vial and shake well

4) Compare the color change with the attached chart

EZ test kits are purely a guide to help analyze the substance. It is recommended not to touch any substance and extensive laboratory testing of samples is recommended for more detailed results.

• Substances such as MDMB-4en-PINACA can be dangerous to consumers in two ways. Firstly, in terms of dosage, synthetic cannabinoids are likely to be applied to cannabis strains either by spraying or by soaking in a solution containing such synthetic substances. This allows highly concentrated sites to be created. In addition, these synthetic cannabinoids have a different effect than THC and it is not known how large the dose used is.
• Does MDMB-4en-PINACA act acutely, does it have a delayed 'creeper' effect and how long does the effect last? These questions remain unanswered.
• A second point to consider is the affinity of such substances for the human THC receptor. Synthetic cannabinoids are primarily research substances developed by scientists in the pharmaceutical industry to analyse the medicinal properties of THC. Synthetic cannabinoids bind to the same receptors in the brain as THC, although this binding is often much more selective and stronger than that of naturally occurring cannabinoids. They act much more strongly on certain receptors in the brain, causing potentially dangerous psychological and physiological side effects.
• The only reason for selling cannabis that has been modified in this way is for financial gain. Cheap industrial hemp has no psychoactive effect, contains mostly CBD and in fact no to very little THC. Visually it is virtually indistinguishable from regular hemp, especially if the expertise of the customers is not high.
